Ron Howard plays Opie for Obama
Two famous duos recently reprised their roles to endorse Obama for President. Acclaimed child actor, turned director, Ron Howard reprised his role as Little Opie with his TV dad Andy Griffith. The two returned to the spot as seen in the opening of the Andy Griffith show to shoot an ad endorsing Obama.
Howard also does a spot with Henry “The Fonz” Winkler in a throw-back to their “Happy Days,” on which Howard played Richie Cunningham on the ’70s television show. Both clips have the same message — don’t go down the same old road, embrace change.
